I like this....simplicity in the present with an eye on the future's depth and complexity. Love Ola Belle....I'm going to include her on an upcoming old timey mix that's been running around my skull for a while. Thanks for posting, bro.
thanks - it's fun to write a haiku once in a while. been somewhat unimpressed with my images as of late though - just not enough time w/ school as i prefer - goin' a simpler less obsessive route. o well. have we talked about ola belle before? fould this on "bill's blog." he's got some quality oldtime bluegrass & country. love the pace & instrumentation of this version more than any version i've ever heard. never thought i'd use this tune or amazing grace since they're both so over used and managed to stumble upon outstandingly stellar versions of both in the course of one week. love it. can't wait for the oldtimey mix bro - bring it!
yeah, I played her "High A Mountain" track one night for ya...with some "Tom" Clarence Ashley and some other stuff in that vein. I'll get it up as soon as I can....I have a few other things in the works before that.
crack the roof, empty the sky, and cultivate the eminence of it's rippling expanse
