Hey guys. Again, I'm happy to get involved with this. I think in addition to posting our work, we should keep a constantly changing idea going. I'm on the fly right now, but I wanted to put one of my pictures up. I've got some ideas brewing, on stuff we can do together, and otherwise. Hope you like this picture. It's very old, and my style has drastically changed, but the depth is interesting, and I want to take some more pictures using my current feel before starting to put those up. Summer's almost here, and I'll be able to focus more. Peace.

  1. that's a great shot justin. really. you said what i was thinking: a lot of layers and depth - and the overall color and feel has a very pleasant, warm mellowness to it. and that beatle is awesome by the way - it makes the picture. josh, if you read this, be sure to click on the picture - there's more to it than what you see on the post (the stripey beatle back for instance). yeah justin, let the ideas flow, they are very welcome. i am equally happy and enthusiastic - collaboration and sharing is where it's at!

  2. Justin, when I looked at your pictures that were attached to a forwarded email from Doug, this photo was my favorite. It brings to mind a depiction of the wanderer. Rather than the often presented image of fiercely, liberated independence and cavalier carelessness, this photo makes me think of the solitary vagabond at his bleakest moment- alone...in unenclosed isolation- with no one to lean on...carrying on for the sake of carrying on. good stuff, man

  3. Thank for checking them out... I also think of solitude with this shot. I'm trying to figure out how to respond to your latest post.. Just took some new pictures after being inspired.

  4. Some kind of weevil, right? I like this little guy. He looks like he's doing his own thing; unknowingly observed by giants. He seems so sunny in a world of low temperature. Bright in a world that sings the blues...cold as a forgotten factory.
